Surface treatment All work surfaces must be clean and dry. Clean surfaces with Liquid Rubber RV Smart Cleaner. Rinse, dry, and wipe with acetone before applying EPDM primer (degreaser may be required). Do not use as membrane cleaner. Do not use with TPO or PVC roof membrane. If rain or dew is expected, please do not apply it in the second half of the day if it rises above 10 degrees Celsius (50 F). Storage: Store ingredients in original unopened container at temperatures from 40F to 90F / 4C to 32C. A popular method is to primer one half down the middle and work from the bare side. once you apply the first coat of RV coating and it dries, the surface will be tack free and you can walk on it to prime and coat the other half. Just leave a little primer exposed from the first half so you can marry to the other side. **Q: How much would I need for a 40 foot goose neck camper? I am not sure the square footage?** A: For a 40 x 8 roof (320 sq ft) you will require about 1.5 gallons of primer and about 7 gallons of our Liquid Rubber RV Roof Coating. Coated around all vents. Cleaned and sanded the areas. Instructions said not to prime lap sealant. However i primes all areas to be sealed. Looks great and my newer roof will no longer have holes in the sealant.
