Am I missing something?** A: Low batteries won't leave the water running. The timer needs power to open the valve but the valve will close itself otherwise. However, my timer had a damaged rubber diaphragm and that caused a 1 gallon/minute leak. Leaked silently for more than a week.t. How long does it "delay"?** A: It does not have a rain sensor.
