Review: Works great - I had tried a bamboo mat in the past but never quite got the knack of it. I found watching a couple YouTube vids to learn some techniques coupled with using this mat helped make rolling our favorite sushi very easy. It’s easy to clean, has small unobtrusive nubs on one side that helped me grip it a little easier while rolling. IMO it also seems more sanitary than the bamboo mats. Wish I had known about this sooner, we plan on enjoying more sushi at home now.

I had tried a bamboo mat in the past but never quite got the knack of it. Great quality, a bit over priced for my opinion. I was using it in a professional manner, meaning daily. U do need to watch the wires as working as a sushi man comes with sharpened knives. It makes the rolling part much more efficient as you do not need to use a nyloned bamboo mat that needs to be replaced daily, oftenly twice or more a day.
