Shes scrawny, not as strong as a lot of the girls slamming it to the outfield so she needs a little work still. Helpful tips - do not store in extreme or humid temps, do not slam it on the plate before batting, do not hit anything other than softballs, not even whiffle balls. Travel teammate got exact brand new bat 29 16 size for last tournament. Daughter tried it and hit well but said it felt a little heavy still. Her league team made playoffs, none of teammates bats were a good fit for her to borrow, most her age are husky heavy explosive hitters. Her old bat was a cheapo 25” rawlings storm and she’s grown so much since using it last year. We knew it was too small but her coaches all said we have plenty of bats she can use, you don’t need to go out and buy one, etc. We kept trying different ones all season with both teams but none were a good fit. She needed her own and not rely on borrowing different ones when those players aren’t at practice. We like it so much we may get the bigger 29 16 as well just for training and strength building purposes.
