The description is rather bad I must say. They're digital rotary encoders. There's nothing analog about them, thus including words like "audio" and "potentiometer" are confusing. Works great ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement for car stereo volume knob *by S***Y on March 18, 2026* I used this to replace a bad encoder on a car radio volume knob. The bottom plate was a bit thicker than expected, but I was able to modify and it worked well. Although, the volume adjustment is opposite now. Turning the volume up actually turns it down and vice versa, but that may be because I roasted a small capacitor while desoldering the old encoder.
