You could get beamed to Pluto and back and it'll tell you upon return, what day of the week it is and the year it is if you were in cryostasis the whole time. (You'd have to go through settings to find the year but it's there so it knows how many days are in each month and which day of the week etc. I've never used this feature in all these years. So maybe it's better to have the kind that rings loud bells you'll hear over your earbuds or TV. If you miss the beeps you could have a fire on your hands so maybe they're limiting our ability to mess things up. When it reaches zero, the rocket blasts off. You don't want a tiny beep to announce such dangerous things, like boiling eggs, dinner in an oven, ...I don't know. You cannot go wrong with a Casio watch. Rolex can stay ugly and require fixing every month. This particular one I'm wearing gets perfect time. Just luck of the draw, but every one I've had has been well within listed specs.
