Fissler's stainless steel products are all made in Germany. Their cooking utensils with nylon/non-stick parts are made in China. I totally understand so I make sure they are actually made in Germany before I buy. This set is truly beautiful and I have been adding more pieces to it. You could get more hooks and other items at the Fissler website. **Q: what are the 6 pieces? the picture only show 5** A: The flat horizontal metal bar hanger is the 6th piece. You are supposed to screw the bar on the wall so that the rest can hang on it. **Q: Is it good?** A: They are a functional work of art. Not made in Germany but perfect nonetheless. **Q: How long is the bar, specifically from the middle of the mounting screw bracket to the other one? What hardware was used to mount it to your wall?** A: The length of the crossbar is 39.5 cm. I fixed it to the wall using expansion bolts.
