Is this the “Lonewolf 6000” I’ve heard about?

Vice grip garage, yeah it is basically the lone wolf 6000 or the "I ain't got no buddies" starter helper under da hooder thingy!

Are the wires heavy enough to work with the increased amperage of an old 6 volt starting system?

I do believe this would work fine on a 6 volt system.these switches are ment for interment use only any way, so over heating should not be a proublem.

My farm tractor started doesn't kickin all the time so i use a screw drive to jump across it. will the heavy duty remote be up to the task?

I believe the answer is NO — If you are using your screwdriver to jump the starter motor itself, I.e. jumping power from the battery + pin on the solenoid to the starter motor terminal on the other side, then NO this will not work. This device is designed to jump the solenoid itself, to replicate the action of turning the key, for the sake of convenience when working under the hood to avoid the walking around the car and getting in every time you need to start the engine while working on the vehicle. If the solenoid itself is bad, then you need a new solenoid. This uses 12 gauge cables which are way too small to handle the high current demand of a starting motor.

If I am underneath of a car cutting a catalytic converter, and I decide I just want to take the whole car, will this start the car for me?

It will not start the car without the ignition being turned on.
