We are using them otherwise than as a night lamp. Blue(whitish) light is known to disturb sleep pattern & damages the eye's receptors. Even mobile phones now come with blue light filters for taming the display. These are Golden Yellow(3000K) & produce a warm & soothing light akin to the yellow light of the incandescent bulbs(40/100W) of yore. Sufficiently bright to light up your bedroom pathway. Cloudtail service were excellent & they sent recent(05/19) bulbs. Genuine Philips bulbs with the barcode & datecode(WE19). The 'E' in the datecode affirms the manufacturing month to be 5th of 2019. The 'W' there stands for the warm(yellowish) type of bulb. However they were sent in a plastic polybag without any box used for the packaging which is a bad packaging practice. We have tried Orient & Panasonic LED bulbs too & found that Philips gives the best light. Hope to see them last long, they are Philips afterall.
