I was scared at first because I am used to those old school big sewing machines from back in the days. This solution was surprisingly good. So, far we have attempted to work on sarees (traditional indian), sherwani (indian) and cotton clothing. The machine works brilliantly. The thread and associated tools kit is also very helpful for a beginner to get started on sewing immediately. The instructions were easy to follow & we were up and running in no time. I would say that for think clothing, it does struggle at time which is expected given the size. But if does smartly it will be able to sew through.
