It's tight so you need to be careful. Wide ended utensils (as I have) will be more difficult.• 2nd photo: The sides (pockets) are open so you'll be able to see the utensils from the side. Not so much if you insert only two.• 3rd photo: Just below the untensil's entrance it has a stitch in the middle to dictate two sides. This adds to the tightness but keeps it neater. I worry if guest aren't careful removing they'll break the middle stitch. So I might not insert three.
