Would it pick up sounds from my mouse & mechanical keyboard?** A: It's a dynamic microphone. It means, it is affected just from near sounds. However, as my experience by Rode Podcaster if the mic volume is in the highest position, it will be take some unwanted noise like mouse or keyboard. **Q: I got the mic & changed the preferences (MAC) to use the Podcaster but cannot get any sound from the mic.Is there a trick?Is this a dud?** A: I just ordered the Podcaster Pro. I want to record into a laptop. I hooked up the USB cord from the Podcaster Pro into the laptop, but when i hit record on the laptop, all i get is the audio from the build in laptop mic. **Q: Can you use this as an external mic with an iPhone 11?** A: Not sure. On my IPhone 10 I use a Rode lapel mic, not the Podcaster. The Podcaster has a USB output cord as standard.
