The copper disk really works. I put this in my birdbath 10 days ago and the water is still crystal clear The disc is very lightweight fits at the bottom of the birdbath underneath my solar pump. To clean it you just rinse it off with water and put it right back in the birdbath. I am purchasing two more for other water features I have. Previous to me having this disc, I was cleaning the birdbath every few days.
