The info on material says paper? Is this accurate or is it a tough/canvas like material?

The case is not made of any type of paper. It’s a much sturdier canvas-like material, probably a synthetic nylon of some kind.

Is this sturdy enough that it would keep crackers from getting smashed?

This is a pen/pencil case….at least that’s what I use it for…..never tried putting crackers in there…. I would suggest a hard plastic lunch container to prevent cracker smashing.

Is the pen/pencil case and zipper are of good quality

The zipper and case are of good quality and very sturdy. I’ve had mine for a year and throw it around in my work bag. I’m an architect and use it a lot. I’ve been very happy with the purchase.
