I ordered more after I washed and used the first set ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Completely won over by high quality cotton waffle weave *by H***L on July 11, 2018* I first experienced these towels at a resort, and was delighted to find them available on Amazon for about half the price the resort offered in their gift shop. I have always used terry towels in the past, and would never have thought to try waffle weave. They are my new favorite: super absorbent, dry quickly, launder beautifully, and the colors work well for me. They are very generously sized, even after the shrinking that is to be expected with the first wash. They do not shrink after that. The first wash is what allows the waffle weave to really pop into 3-D, and I love that texture. Another reviewer mentioned a ruffling at the ends after washing. I think this slight texture difference is intended as part of the decorative weaving detail of the border. Personally, I find it an enhancement.
