The description states that this table is adjustable, but several reviews say the height is fixed. If you have the 36" version, can you confirm?

From the floor to the center of the table is 34.5 inches (Leg in center point on each end) By using the easy to turn bolts on each end lets you turn the table down in front or in back. What I love that I can have a watercolor going in the flat position. And tilt the other side after the water color is dye to work on an acrylic or charcoal. Lots of space and tilting both sides makes this a dream table for me. Hope this helps

Is this sturdy enough for a sewing machine? Can it handle the weight? My daughter wants to use this for both drafting and sewing.

It would hold the weight of a sewing machine BUT I do not believe it would hold up to the rigors of sewing. Dragging fabric that would cause a pushing and pulling effect would not be good. The table is top heavy already and has minimal leg contacts to the feet. It would all come down to how much sewing and how often.

Is it possible to use a parallel bar (like Mayline) on this table?

the sides of this table are approximately 3/4 i nches deeo and are free on both sides off any impediments underneath that would obstruct this device that I can see. The legs and other mounting hardware are recessed a good iinch and a half or more. the only obstruction is the pencil tray at the bottom that does not transverse the entire bottom. Does this help?

Perfect for a Home Studio

Drawing table

Definitely best to get this size if drawing on A1 or similar. Desk easy to assemble, nice to look at and a joy to use. Delivered in timely fashion, well packed. So glad we bought this, absolutely love using it.

This table is gorgeous! Thank God I ignored some negative ratings here. The table came within the first week from the USA to Austria, although I was awaiting it two or three weeks later. Almost everything was perfect. It has three horizontal crossbars. One of them was warped, but there was no bigger problem at the assembly. The rest was perfect and the table has been assembled withing ~45 minutes. I use it for "Painting by Numbers" and it is a pleasure to paint on it. Very good for the spinal column and my neck, and it looks simply beautiful.
