Kayaking and all sorts of stuff. Love how it’s a pull string and not auto ### ⭐⭐ Not comfortable at all due to position of cartridge *by H***H on Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2022* I REALLY wanted to love this jacket, but it’s the most uncomfortable life vest I’ve ever worn. The cartridge is placed right between the shoulder blades, so you can’t lean back at all. If you’re in a boat, you can’t sit in a normal seat, or lean back against the gunwales. In a kayak with a taller seat back, it would be horrible. Even if you’re not trying to lean back on a backrest, the cartridge digs into your back just standing. I opened the box and armed the PFD and wore it for just a few minutes in my house, and I can still feel the spot where the cartridge was.My other complaint is the the straps to pull to tighten the vest are oriented incorrectly. On this jacket, you have to reach your arms behind you and then pull backwards to tighten the straps, which is pretty awkward and difficult. Even on my cheap NRS jacket, you pull the straps forward which is much easier.
