I decided to finally replace it with this unit because some useful storage is way better than a lot of inaccessible storage.The shape of the shelves isn’t the most practical — I much prefer rectangular shelves for neat stacking — but again, the compromise is definitely worth it here.Installation was relatively straightforward but people who aren’t as handy might have a little trouble with the minimal instructions. This unit is way less complicated than the other one I had to rip out, too. This could probably be installed with the door on, but I had to take mine off because it was attached to the old shelving and it was nice to have a big space for installation.The quality feels good so far — it’s sturdy and I like the soft close feature a lot. I did add some soft felt pads on the sides of the shelves so they wouldn’t scratch my oven.
