Get it.
Worth it. I've been using it to dig post holes for a fence, and it fires up first pull. Does what it's supposed to. I'd recommend it way better than digging by hand.

Works as it should
It works as it should. My 66 year old mother uses it to dig holes for post cause she has a mini cow. Either myself or my sister in law help her hold it we can use it ourselves so it's not real heavy. Just hang on tight when going to dig or you'll perk pretty hard.

Just one issue
First use the choke lever broke, just pump primer bulb and it starts right up. Digs holes like butter. Very happy with it other than the choke lever breaking.

This Product is for a strong armed user!
Got this auger to set 35 - 4x6 fence post and it got the job done. This Auger is worth the money. Easy to set up and change auger sizes, can also add extension rods. I went 36 inches depth and did not need any extensions (the augers are 36" in length plus the shaft is about 6 inches). I read the reviews about making sure you add grease via the fittings on the gear shaft so these reviews saved me. (The gear shaft is completely empty of grease on arrival, it was about 20 pumps each grease fitting). Cheaper than harbor freight and it ran perfectly through Florida/ Georgia Clay, small roots, and some rocks. This Product is for a strong armed user! If you hit a big root with the engine purring, the auger will stop and the motor head will keep spinning with you attached. Has been used a total of 4 times, starts, runs and works as it should. Also note, this motor runs on 30:1 fuel mix. The Shut off switch quit working on my motor but no big deal just open on the choke and it will stall the motor.

Donโt buy it
The auger wouldnโt start. We found someone who works with small engines. He got it started, and as we were digging our first fence post hole, it stopped, never to start again. The company wanted a video showing we were doing everything right (which we were), but the video wouldnโt send. They said they would replace the auger, but after weeks of waiting, we still donโt have the auger and no fence up. We have now requested our money back. If you take a chance on this auger, and it doesnโt work, good luck getting the company to help you.

Feather the throttle. Dont try to rush it down.
Excellent. Dug 35 post holes in just a few hours. Just remember not to go full out because if the auger catches a rock or a root, it will about tear your arms off. It's a natural reaction to give more gas when you hit an obstruction, but DON'T DO IT. Feather the throttle all the way trough the dig cycle and use a digging bar to remove rocks or roots. I only gave it full throttle while pulling up to clear the dirt from the hole. It will take a few holes to get a feel of the tool, but I will never use a clam shell phd again.

Will NOT start
UPDATE: I finally got it to start but it took a lot of effort and messing with the spark plug. Brand knew wouldnโt start. Put unleaded gas per instructions with 2 cycle oil. Followed instructions. Will not start. Terrible quality control if a brand new product doesnโt work.

Broke down after drilling 3 holes
I am going to try and contact the company to send me another post hole digger. After drilling three holes, my son who is a strapping 6โ 5โ and 220 lbs was operating the digger for the fourth hole and was attempting to increase the RPMs when the throttle stuck open and after pushing the kill button, the digger went crazy and started flipping around on the ground snapping org the gas tank, kill switch and bending other items on the digger. When he finally got it stopped, he stated that he had injured his ankle and leg which started to swell up and later bruised up badly. So I would like the company to replace the digger soonest. Thank you Gerald Taylor
