Please note, though, that the interiors of these purses tends to vary. My black one that looks like the picture has a velcro-type closure of the inside oversize pocket while my confetti/pink one has no closure on the same pocket.That doesn't change anything, though. I haven't changed my purse since my confetti one arrived and my Mother insisted on buying herself a black one as well. We travel quite frequently and this bag is roomy and can be used either over the shoulder or as a messenger. The water bottle holder is fabulous, I keep my keys and phone in the outside pocket.The interior of the purse has contrasting fabric so that you can find your stashed goods much easier! I've looked at several purses in this style, but none have compared with the Valencia. It truly is just that wonderful. We'd be walking most of the time and I wanted something hands-free I could just throw across my body and not worry about someone snatching it. Also I knew we'd have at least one rainy day so the black nylon version of this served its purpose bc it kept all my things dry inside. I originally wanted the cuter patterned canvas version but it couldn't ship in time and it ended up for the best. However, my biggest gripe would be the lack of any interior zippered pockets. There's a big sectioned open pocket that really wasn't deep enough to help organize my littler things like gum, hotel card, metro pass, etc effectively, so I ended up digging around aimlessly in the bag a lot in time crunch situations and worried about things falling out when pulling bigger items out. The front outside pocket was perfect for a water bottle though.The strap wasn't bad, I stuffed a light rain jacket in the bag and with my other necessities, it did start pulling on my shoulder after a while but that's to be expected of most cross-body bags unless you have a padded strap. It was easy to adjust the length.Overall, if I had more time, I'd definitely search for a similar bag but with better internal organization and zippers but this definitely did its job for me in NYC and will be kept for future trips until I find a better replacement. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy and practical purse *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2014* This is an attractive bag that's very durable-even has a lifetime guarantee. I like the design but am not crazy about the material, which is some sort of woven synthetic fiber that rustles when you touch it. Haven't tested it yet but it looks water proof. It's lightweight, and I do like the outside pouch for a water bottle, which is disguised as one of the decorative gathers on the front. I would like it better if it had more compartments inside. The handle, which is adjustable, is woven nylon, kinda like a dog leash or belt, which is not what I was expecting. Okay for casual wear, definitely not for dressier occasions.
