Obviously i cannot turn around to where the Base Station cannot track, but spinning around only makes me lose tracking for a second. So if you were thinking about starting out with a one Base Station setup or cannot afford two, you wouldn't be missing out on much! The only difference is the name on the box. I bought two for my Index and they setup and worked perfectly. **Q: Will this work with original base station?** A: No. They use different tracking methods. Also 2.0 base station wont work with original vive, only vive pro and probably the valve index. **Q: Do these come in a pack of 2+ or do I have to purchase these separately?** A: You can get 1 for 180 degree tracking for sitting VR, but if you want 360 degree tracking, you should get 2.
