But even though the remote didn't come in the original packaging, the remote was in pristine condition, properly wrapped and works flawlessly. They even included an extra long USB cable that works with the remote so that I could set up the remote through the MyLogitech web app. I was very happy with this purchase especially since buying one off of another site would've costed me 2 to 3 times as much. As for the remote itself, it has excellent range for what I need, it feels to be well-made and the buttons operate properly. I am sure the battery life will be normal.
