The aluminum has a high tech look and texture but works with any decor and the base is very stable with a small footprint. We bought two different sets for our upstairs and downstairs Sony TV’s sound systems. I wish this company also designed and sold top attachments for different speakers systems in case we change our speakers to a different brand or style In the future, then the base stand could be reusable especially because of the cost and it’s excellent quality.
