They stay in place when running and provide the perfect amount of compression. So I find that even if it is a 3 mile or up to a half marathon, these socks deliver. I love that they come in these cool stripes, brightly colored makes them fun but also helps so passing motorists see you. (Along with all the other reflective gear we all should be wearing). I find these socks are great for recovery as well post race or run. I am a nurse and purchased many knee high compressions that would inch down and have to pull them up constantly but not these, these stay up all day long. So I will be replacing all my work socks with these too. I loved them so much I went to their site and purchased additional colors. I wear a 8.5-9 in womens shoe US sizes and a SM/MD is the sock size that fits me. I noticed these socks are made and shipped in the USA which is cool.
