The serial number is already registered so it is impossible to get support from Motu as registering a product is mandatory before tickets or contact is possible. It gives you another DAW as well. The problem with the primary DAW they give is, there’s very little information about in on the net. I tried using it, but struggled because I had no reference. I started using Ableton, and found multiple YouTube videos on nearly all aspects of it. I’m very new to this type of thing, so I really needed some help getting started. Hope this helps. **Q: Does the headphone out play audio from other sources on your computer or does that strictly deal with monitoring your own signal?** A: Yes you can. I currently have the M2 driver installed and the headphone will (if you set it properly) play computer audio from any application, WinAmp, Pandora, whatever. You can also monitor what is coming from the inputs via the headphone jack using the monitor buttors. **Q: I want to use this audio interface with my ipad. Is it class compliant, and will work with an ipad without any need to install a software?** A: Flawlessly! **Q: Can i use an usb-c to lightning cable to connect to an ipad?** A: Not sure. The input on the MOTU is standard USB so if there is an adapter from USB to USB C then to lightning then maybe.
