Gold dose not combine easily with oxygen so it stays shiny. Putting any type of clear coat on top of 24k gold will start to haze in time **Q: Is this item food grade? I will suggest to go to a marine store to make sure you pick a good adhesive and sealant that will resist the weather conditions. Unfortunately, I don't know of any marine brand and I don't advise to use a regular adhesive and sealant for this application. For the sizing, you can find it in the description, or if you would like more information you can go on our website directly.
