This will not be a problem with steel construction, the phone slides in so precise I was afraid for the surface but its done no damage so far other than a bit more dust in some of the areas the other cases did protect. So cleaning your phone is necessary more often.The CRKT iNoxCase 360 is what I suspect will be the final case I will ever need for the I phone 5. I wish I had only found this one earlier so I could have saved a lot of money as I really care for this phone I will never again buy another via contract but that's another story.Pros : Steel Period. Might deflect a bullet its seriously tough. Strong Rubber band money pocket clip 360 swing hinge.Cons : Heavy. Allows dust in ports. At first I thought there was a issue with the signal in the area as my wife's iPhone4s with a Mareware plastic case with clip and arm band was only getting 1 bar too. I pulled the phone ou of the case to clean it and I all of a sudden had 3 bars. Back in and down to 1/searching.
