I purchased this item for when I need to recharge and am away from a vehicle or electrical outlet.  I work construction and have to have my phone on me and it doesn't stay charged all day when we are busy and I am not going to be in the truck for an extended amount of time.  It fits in a pocket and has charged my droid completely twice on one charge.  It also fits on my sons Turtle Beach xbox headset with adapter when he hasn't charged in a while.
