This is a large toy. It measures about 24 inches long by 10 or so inches high. It comes with two garbage cans. The size reminds me of the big Tonka trucks I used to buy for my boys.

Do you think that a Bruder Garbage truck is too difficult for a 2 year old. He loves garbage trucks and has good goo d manual dexterity. Please let

I was super excited to start buying bruiser trucks for my 3 yr old but now I'm disappointed I wasted the money. The bruiser guy was broke within a day an the side loader on the garbage truck only lasted about a week. They are not nearly as tough as they claim to be so unless your 2 yr is very dainty I woul look into getting him something else.

is the truck automated in any way, or is it manual functions?

It's all manual, there are no batteries. Which to me, is a good thing. My son (about to turn 5), has had this for a year now. Still looks like new, and nothing has broken, and it gets played with alot.

I have seen pictures of an all orange one - is this one orange cab only?

Pretty sure the picture is the exact item you'll get. It's what ours looks like. I've seen all orange ones but they're made by Tonka, I think. Don't think I've seen one made by Bruder that's all orange. Hope this helps you.

Best garbage truck ever! Huge, and really solid build and functionality. It's been 3 weeks since Xmas and my son is still enthralled and playing with daily. Made of plastic but so much better than the others. No assembly needed, looks like the real deal. Was worried about the price originally, because it is expensive, but whoa, this thing is well worth the money. My son has a serious love for garbage trucks, and a multitude of other garbage truck toys, but they have literally all taken the back burner to this Bruder garbage truck!
