**Q: What type of metal are these made from?**
A: While I don’t have it on divine authority, I can make an educated guess based on how it acts, doesn’t rust, feels over time, and so forth. It’s more than likely thin bargain steel. It may not hold its form after too many contortions larger than keys—I use them on backpacks etc and for other reasons, but this is likely because of how thin and flat it is rather than some other alloy.

**Q: Are the rustproof?**
A: Dear buyer 
  Yes, they are rustproof.

**Q: Are these stainless steel or some other metal?**
A: The Amazon description for these says: "Material -- The surface of key-chain rings is polished, anti-rust and anti-erosion, these key-chain rings are made of iron material, hard and strong."  Iron can rust so I'm assuming that it is only the polish that prevents the iron from rusting.

**Q: What are these made of?**
A: I believe steel

Was able to replace all the thin and deformed keyrings we had. Used it for key rings, my dogs tags that attach to her collar and other items that we use around the house. 3 perfect sizes for any thing for every use and very sturdy that it doesn't warp when you insert keys or attach it to something.
