Apple AirPods Max - Midnight (Renewed)

I was skeptical and worried to be honest of the quality of the product being refurbished, but decided to purchase and save myself £150. I needn’t have worried. These are perfect. Not a scratch, mark or stain and came with everything original except the box. The AirPods themselves are very heavy in comparison to other over-ear headphones, but that also speaks to quality and durability. There is a sense of immersion when placed over the ears and of course they work perfectly within the ecosystem which is why I purchased them for use at home with my various devices particularly Apple TV. I still prefer to take my AirPods out and about as they are more portable. It’s Apple but this time without the Apple-tax. I’m very happy with them.

I am writing this review on behalf of my 12-year-old son, who saved his own money to purchase these headphones. Upon arrival, he was pleased overall - minor scratches aside, he felt they were good value. However, he quickly noticed he was unable to connect them to Apple's Find My app, which understandably unsettled him. I reassured him this was likely just a limitation of buying refurbished goods and that nobody was tracking him. He accepted this and continued using them, as he found the sound quality excellent. A week or two later, following a full charge, the headphones simply would not power on. He returned them well within the 30-day window. This is where things became deeply concerning. The company is now refusing to issue a refund, claiming my son is still logged into an iCloud account connected to the headphones and that this is entirely our fault. This is simply not true. I want to be absolutely clear - the device arrived already locked to an iCloud account that was never ours. We had no access to Find My from day one! Despite this, they continue to use it as grounds to withhold his refund. To make matters worse, they currently have both his money AND the product. He has been left with nothing. Further red flags: • Communication is extremely poor and feels automated - almost like speaking to a chatbot that comes under two different names. • The phone number listed on the account is no longer in service. • When questioned, they claimed their phone lines are "currently down" with no alternative offered. • No escalation route, no manager contact, no in-person option provided. This experience has all the hallmarks of a scam operation. A child saved up his money in good faith and purchased a faulty, previously locked item - and is now being denied his refund on false grounds while they hold onto both the returned product and his payment. I formally had to escalate this matter directly to Amazon and they took matters into their own hands. Please avoid this seller entirely.

Great sound quality and noise cancellation, comfortable, but I would say the one down side is I've found the microphone quality really poor. If I do switch my sound input to my laptop or my phone, people can barely hear me.

I will say, I’m exceptionally surprised. Ordered renewed because I didn’t want to fork out £500. They are literally brand new. You wouldn’t know these are “renewed” at all. I’m convinced someone’s tried them on didn’t like them and sent them back. No marks, no issues at all. No issues with iCloud connection either. Thank you very much. I’m proper chuffed with these 👍🏼👍🏼😋

Build quality and design is extremely premium and durable is made out of metal and the headband is really comfortable. Battery life also is amazing especially for long traveling. Fit is good too is adjustable and doesn’t fall off. Personally I had to return them since I prefer earphones rather than headphones but I would defo recommend them if you like headphones as they’re solid in my opinion they’re basically like AirPods Pro but in headphones form

Works fine, hopefully it stays that way. Am just glad it’s original for the price.

The quality of the Airpods is ok … but the sound quality is worst … after use for a while the right earpiece was not working again after charging for a while it started worked after sometime it has the same issue… and the connectivity of airpods max to iphone should be seamless but this one keep on disconnecting and connecting back ….So, recommend guys not to buy refurbished… instead go for new ones
