Industrialized strength, lightweight yet durable insulation designed to hold staples without tearing. Does not compress, collapse or disintegrate. Reflects 97% of radiant heat, emits less than 3% of heat, Class 1 / Class A fire rated radiant barrier that has passed the ASTM E84 test & ASTM E2599.
- Non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, fiber-free, safe to handle and does not require protective clothing or respirators to install. A: Sorry. Was thinking of a different product in my previous answer. This typically has an r-value of 0.9 to 1.2 by itself. Again, airgaps and multiple layers needed for anything higher than this range.

**Q: what is the thickness?**
A: 1/4inch

**Q: can i wrap this around my hvac ducts that sweat?**
A: yes very popular application

**Q: Will this work on the floor?**
A: No on roof, but inside attic ceiling is good.

I am using this bubble foil to insulate my polycarbonate greenhouse on three sides and the roof. I made shades that I can open to let in the sun during daylight hours. If it is cloudy, snowy and cold, I leave the shades down and the foil reflects the electrical lighting. I reside in Metro Chicago and this system reduces my energy costs.Time will tell how long this particular product holds up to the sun, cold and summer heat.
