Very disappointed and feel like this has been a total waste ...
This transcriber was advertised that the tape speed had been modified. It had NOT been modified. I even specified what tape speed I needed prior to purchasing it and was informed, yes, this transcriber is modified to the speed I needed. My tapes run extremely fast on this machine making transcription impossible. I am currently searching, to no avail, for anyone in my area who might know how to slow the tape speed down. Very disappointed and feel like this has been a total waste of my money and time. To be a bit more clear, however, this machine was purchased through Transcription Wizard for $274; not the $569 new machine as shown.
