**Q: Is there salt in this?**
A: I ended up throwing away the product due to the cinnamon in it. We just couldn’t get used to cinnamon flavored pickles. I do not recall any salt however.

If no ingredient statement appears on the product label, then the product is as it appears in the product name (e.g. black pepper). **Q: Any one use this for pickled bologna?**
A: I haven’t tried it for bologna but it is a good pickling spice. I like it a lot.

**Q: is this the same product as the grocery store 1.5 ounce pickling spice?**
A: Yes. Might be a little courser than the small bottles. Love mine.

Good blend that I like, and when combined with Juniper Berries makes great Sauerbraten. Big 12 oz jar at a very affordable price instead of very expensive 1.5 oz supermarket size, which is about 4 T and no longer in local markets.
