How long is it good after adding to water? Gatoraide powder can be added to water and sit for a month no problem, even in the sun. Does it produce gas

I've mixed night before afternoon workout & is fine. Longest I've gone I about 24 hrs. There's got to be time when it loses its punch so I've tried to consume in 12 to 15 hrs.
