Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Truth Be Told

I like this series. It's wholesome and quirky. The characters are old timey in a good way. This movie is family friendly although some of the themes are best understood by teens and up.

I am not much of a movie or series person. Signed, sealed and delivered both the movies and the series have really made a positive meaningful reason for me to watch T.V. again. I've lost interest in many of my favorite things after my husband passed away and my son's this year 2020 have been very seriously ill.The writer is extremely talented and gifted. All of the actors portraying Oliver, Shane, Rita, Norman and Joe are individually amazing in their delivery of the characters with their unique personalities, showing with grace the human weaknesses and strengths. Because of their dedication and focus on their specific parts they represent, they make every movie and every episode of the series a true work of art. Delightful, touching, meaningful thoughts and actions bring to life the dignity and genuine respect for human feelings, that are full of self sacrifice showing heartfelt sincere love for one another.I strongly recommend these movies and series, they are one of a kind, All the stories are so impressively written with interesting details, beautiful morals and reverence to the Almighty that makes all things happen and is the giver of all good gifts as James 1:17 says "Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, coming down from the Father of the celestial lights, who does not vary or change like the shifting shadows." That through the stories of 2 men and 2 women and the involvement of letters that have gone astray the author reveals that loving people and acting in kindness towards others is the only way to having a healthy love of oneself. And that the author of the TV show refers to God and Jesus Christ as the only way to be able to have this healthy love for others and oneself despite the wars and evil that exists through out the world. Feeling Christ's love, even in the saddest circumstances of a person's life is what gets us through the sad situations and helps us to have strength and hope and determination to live another day with love in our hearts. All of the SIGNED SEALED and DELIVERED movies are filled with humor and a lack of filthy language and situations in life that are very real and how love wins every time. This time, the Postables must help the truth come to the forefront in both the lives of a young girl whose mom served in the military, and also for Oliver. As with all of the Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies, this one is excellent. It was a little bit confusing at first, as this episode was actually released in 2015 (but the DVD was released in 2018), so it was as if backing up a bit to watch a piece of the past. Nonetheless, this is another one of the Postables' adventures that shouldn't be missed. It includes humor, romance, and some tear-jerking moments, with themes of truth, what it means to be a family, and kindness and compassion toward others, whether friends or strangers.It's refreshing to see a series that is family friendly and has a great message. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this DVD for family watching. The Signed, Sealed, and Delivered series are the best shows out there in my opinion. This started as a series on the Hallmark Channel and moved into 2 hour movies when the series was cancelled. This movie is great for family viewing. It has no violence, sex or any other bad influence from our society today. I highly recommend this series to everyone who wants a series that has thoughtful, kind characters in it. Martha Williamson, of the famed "Touched By An Angel" show is the writer along with others. They make a great team and pull together a wonderful storyline in "Truth Be Told."

We enjoy this series, the characters, and uplifting nature of the show and are glad to be able to add these DVDs to our library, however, you should know that the two most recently released titles have a security feature which does not allow them to be played on a laptop - unless you do a little research online and find a work around (usually used by folks who ironically are trying to pirate disks). I know laptops with disk drives are disappearing, but just in case you travel and view movies this way like we do... My heart sunk when I loaded the disk. Thankful for a techy husband who was eventually able to make it work!

When we first started watching SSD in the series,frankly, I was underwhelmed. I considered it to be rather goofy and insipid. It has grown on me. While some of the characters are rather odd, it's a good mix. I have come to be interested in finding out what comes next and caring what happens with the characters. This one has some Up moments and a few Down ones. Get the tissues handy! You may need them. The series is cute, clean, fun and Realistic in not just being absolutely Perky at all times. Good show. I look forward to more.

Perhaps the best “POstables” story based on story content. It’s themed about finding your inner self created by what you do, say, and strive to achieve. Same great cast of 4 we’ve all come to love and respect. This series is one of Hallmark’s crowning presentations. A magical blend of mystery, humor, and heart-warming character-driven multiple sub-plots. It is purposefully written and filmed with family intentions, all ages. A Christian thread. Overall, we enjoyed this recent contribution to the Signed, Sealed, Delivered stories. However, we found it a bit confusing as, until now, it seemed that each story was a sort of sequel to the story before it, with a continuing storyline that included the ongoing development of the two romantic relationships. This story was not really part of the series, as Oliver's relationship with his father had already been addressed in the previous movie called Lost Without You when the two of them went on a camping trip together. Here, Oliver hadn't seen or talked to his father in 15 years.Aside from that surprise, the movie was family friendly as usual with good values. I'd say there was more depth into the background, motivation and character of the four main people in the story. The acting was very good. The theme, find out the truth and don't jump to conclusions, was well presented. I would recommend this movie to others.

This is part one of a two part story that continues in "The Impossible Dream". This a stand alone movie, but you really should see the second one! It is well worth the time. The whole team that creates and produces these stories deserves high praise as far as I am concerned.

I love this series of movies and have bought most of them and have watched each one more than once.The closed caption is missing on most of them which irks me a bit. The acting is great and so natural.

Another lovely emotional episode, especially for Oliver. Oliver discovers that a father is more than the one who conceived you. A father is the one who spends twenty years and more loving you every day even when you don't return his love, until the "Truth Be Told." A box of Kleenex episode.
