If it wasn't so much trouble to take it out, I would send it back but if you have ever changed out one of these batteries you can understand it's not worth the trouble. If you don't have good dexterity or mechanical aptitude you will need help. My wife started to replace the battery on her Nook but needed me to take over because of it's cumbersom multipul steps.
