I don't typically take this out of my home, but occasionally I will bring it to work. While there I just want to ensure some protection from scratches. So for my purpose this is fine.The color is great, and it has a smooth/soft finish. The keyboard cover is fine. It is a little off but not terribly so. Fits fine and doesn't really hinder my typing at all.
