Yes i know who needs a dock and this device plugged in, well i do. So now i have to carry another power supply with me. Would be so bad but anyone that knows the Surface Pro 4, you cant have it off the power supply for much longer than an hour because the battery SUCKS. Still anyway i really do like this product, it is so useful. Like i have a 256Gb micro SD in the bottom slot all the time and run my Virtual Machines on it. So it adds a third drive to the Surface and i still can copy and setup other SD cards because it still has a SD and micro SD slots open.I would also get another one when i upgrade to a Pro 6 so my problem is a minor one and if you dont use a Surface dock it wont be a problem. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nifty Solution to Hardware Design Issue *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2018* As much as I love my SP4, I've always wished for more ports. Previously, I had tried multiport connectors, but there was always wires around. When I saw this port combo, I thought let's give it a shot. I especially like the fact that it came with HDMI. I received it promptly (yay, Prime) and just plugged it in. I tested the USBs and HDMI, all of which worked flawlessly. SP4 has built in mini SD card holder, so I have not tried that yet, but do not expect any problems.The unit sits snugly on the right side, just above the power connector. And for a right handed mouse user, it does not interfere in any way at all. I strongly suggest that if you want a mulitport solution, you look into this unit.(I did not give it 5 stars, because it's not a must have add-on.
