I recommend Anker cables. Everyone does. I used to think there was little difference in adapters and cables. I was willing to buy no-name brands. I am on the road all the time (100 flights a year, 50 train trips). That means quite a bit of usage, in motion, with exposure in particular to people bumping into things and yanking the adapter out of the outlet or tripping over the cable (even though I am careful). I have concluded Anker is reliable. I have had adapters and cables fail through usage or be damaged with only minor bumping (I don't recommend AOHi for that reason; it happened two one adapter and two cables) -- for example, the business end comes loose from the remainder. As I get older (I just retired), I care more about whether a purchase will be durable. Anker, more than other brands, will last.

Well built and works as advertised. A little expensive though.
