I used to get Adapt and they changed the size they were 4 1/2 x 2 3/4. Perfect size for my stoma. Thanks** A: These are small wipes about the size of and similar to an alcohol wipe. They are meant to help prepare the skin for better bandage adhesion. They are not a dressing in itself. Had to do many bandage changes on my husband before he passed and I loved these wipes. They really help a bandage or protective bandages such as Tegaderm adhere to the skin. I always have them on hand. Helps with bandaid adhesion too. Hope this helps. **Q: product ingredients** A: According to the package, the ingredients are: Isopropyl Alcohol, Butyl Ester of PVM/MA Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate **Q: I am wanting to order the larger qty (1000) but we are worried if these will dry out too fast overtime before all being used. This is for a PT office.** A: I order 2-4 boxes at a time with no problem. I use 2 every 2-4 days. Occasionally I have to use them more frequently. This brand I find to be better than any other I have used. **Q: Will this help stop itching and redness from my medical tape on dressings?** A: I don’t know about the itching but it should keep your skin from getting irritated by the dressing, I use it even when I use pain patches, helps keep them on even though they need a little tape around the edges. and maybe look into a different kind of dressing, that could be your main cause of irritation. So happy my mom’s nurse recommended this vs the alcohol swabs that come with the libre2 products. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very helpful. *by K***1 on 13 April 2026* Just as described ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best barrier wipe around *by M***T on 23 July 2025* As a type 2 diabetic, I find this barrier film wipe to be effective and easy to use. I protects my skin when I apply my CGM (Dexcom G7) and the over-patch. I do not use a barrier film, I get something that looks like a chemical burn/blister wherever the attaching adhesives touch my unprotected skin. The Dexcom CGMs are supposed to run for 10 days. It only takes a few hours for my unprotected skin to skin to react to the adhesives. This product has helped me immensely. I don’t have to worry about the intense itching and burning I have endured without it, previously. It is also a relief to not have open sores due to the blistering that can occur when I don’t apply a barrier film. I’m sure others have encountered this issue. I have also found this same barrier film as a spray. It helps tremendously. I just spray it liberally on the area to which I want to apply my CGM and over-patches, let it dry, then apply my device and over-patches, rub my finger over the device and patches to be sure the adhesion is strong, then go about my business. Lasts the whole 10 days without fear of irritation, itching, burning, or residual blisters/sores. I am much happier using this product. It is far better than any other product I’ve tried.
