Use it to pour over lemon cakes, for glazes and baking, or beat it in vinaigrettes, marinades and glazes or separately as a simple base for sorbet. Unknown in the Western world before 1908, agricultural researcher Frank Meyer imported the Meyer Lemon, a cross of lemon and mandarin/pomelo that was rediscovered by California chefs in the 1970s and has been hugely popular ever since. Ingredients Cane sugar, filtered water, lemon peel and lemon juice, lemon extract, vitamin C (acidifier: ascorbic acid), acidifier: citric acid, natural vanilla extract

This is an excellent Meyer Lemon syrup. No bitter taste. Smells so good and tastes great as if you squeezed them fresh. I have used in iced tea, to make lemonade, and added it to lemon ginger hot tea. Love it. Hope that helps.

Great for a lemon soda or even better in a Tom Collins. Double-up your lemon flavors with this syrup. (Gin, strup, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, soda water). Throw in a dash of SSC's lavender or ginger syrup, too.
