Especially if you are counting your calories. At only 10 calories per tablespoon it can really help keep your calories down when you're on a diet. The only downside is I find the taste obviously isn't as good as the original mayonnaise. If you use the lighter than light mayonnaise as a base for a salad dressing it's perfect. I use the mayonnaise to make a 'thousand island' style dressing. Although the result may look darker than usual, the taste is perfectly acceptable.
