Everything you need to get started and continue to use all of the features of the drone are included (no need to buy extra equipment or chargers). It comes with a case so pieces don’t get misplaced and it’s protected in between uses (let’s face it we’re talking about a kid)). It was simple to get the drone flying and the controls are intuitive enough that we were able to use it successfully right away even though we had minimal to no experience with drones besides that first disappointing purchase years ago. I love the fact that it came with 2 batteries so one can be charging while the other is in use doubling the amount of time you can fly the drone. We let my younger son try out the drone and despite the fact that he had a few minor crashes there was no damage. It seems pretty durable but only time will tell.
