Very easy to assemble , not on the heavy side and extremely quiet even on the higher settings which is a massive plus when using it in bedrooms or in any room where you need to hear yourself think without distractions and it cooled our rooms very efficiently . . It doesn’t just oscillate from side to side but also up and down and around so it cools the air more effectively. The remote is small and the buttons are large enough and marked clearly for precise yet easy operation. The control on the fan itself is very easy to read and operate in an intuitive way , the height is a doddle to adjust . Given the price we will more than likely purchase another one for our garden room .b

I don't usually leave reviews on Amazon, but this fan has blown me away, so thought it deserves one. I got the white one for my bedroom. It looks smart and minimalist, would fit very well in any modern home. It's light and has a handle to help move it around the house if needed. At 12 inches it's a bit smaller than many pedestal fans, but more than powerful enough to cool you down even when set up across the room. Also, the height can be adjusted to one of 2 positions - tallish dest fan or a floor standing one. The taller setting is just right to have the fan set up next to a bed. The oscillation function works well (can go both side to side as well as straight up and back down to it's standard horizontal position) and putting it on increases the noise the fan makes on lower settings only by a tiny amount - barely noticeable. As for the best part, when sat next to my bed, I can have it on all night on low settings and it's pretty much inaudible while providing a lovely breeze. Our upstairs bedroom gets roasting hot during the few hot spells we get each year and this fan has been a godsend.

Not as quiet as the Whisper fan I purchased a few weeks ago. Does a good job the timer is great at night. Both fans getting a lot of use at the moment!

Have used whisper fan now for two weeks, love it. Use each night in bedroom, on setting 4/5 full oscillation, keeps the room cool, and its so quiet ,went to friends and found they too had bought a fan very similar in height and fan size. It was rubbish, it was noisy and although only about 4 feet away and turned towards me, because of how hot i was. it was completly ineffective could not even feel the air from the massive blades. Back to my review on the whisper. Daytime used in the front room, again very pleased with no complaints The remote works well but needs to be pointed at the sensor on the stand base to work reliably. all in all, very pleased. Very effective, customizable, good build quality and very pleased.

A well performing fan with plenty of speeds to choose from. It really is whisper quiet at lower speeds (below 10) so depending on the weather you may find you need to have it on a higher speed and is therefore not quiet anymore. Relatively small in size but does pack a punch. Higher speeds are able to cool you down during heatwaves (rather than circulating warm air). Found the various oscilating modes (it has vertical and horizontal) to be somewhat hit and miss and it'll sometimes get stuck which can be annoying. I've also not found any way to turn the fan off without the remote. The IR receiver is also fustratingly placed at the base of the fan which if placed out of the way requires some awkward positioning or arm waving for it to register any input.

Why did you choose this product over others?: The most important thing to me was a very quiet fan, one that could be on all night without waking my partner who is a very light sleeper. I am very pleased to say that between speeds 1 through to 6 it doesn't wake him up and during this heatwave it has been worth it's weight in gold. 100% recommended for quality, easy to put together and most importantly for us, very very quiet.

Great fan, we also have the previous version for a few years and got this one to use on other room and works great. We can leave working all night near the bed and is quiet, at a speed of 5 in quiet/silent mode. Normal usage has a good flow of air at higher speeds and it's not too noisy.
