Works well on my anodized aluminum pots with barely more pressure than weight of stone sliding across surface. **Q: What's the difference between regular pumice stone used for toilets & earthstone kitchenstone? less abrasive to a colored porcelain toilet?** A: The Earthstone Kitchenstone didn't work at all for me. I bought it because a housecleaner I hired once had one and it did a great job cleaning my oven. However, when I tried it on my oven, it did very little to clean the oven. Even if you scrubbed hard, only a very small amount of the grime came off. Maybe the housecleaner had a different product. I need to see about getting my money back. **Q: Can this be used on a stone sink?** A: I use the product on porcelain finished bathroom surfaces (sink, toilet, tiles, etc.), and it works well in removing hard water related mineral deposits. It is essentially re-compacted powdered glass, so, silica. Which is relatively hard compared to many other natural materials. Depending upon what kind of stone the sink is made of, and how it is finished, this product could mar the surface or even abrade the stone sink significantly. If you are trying to resurface the sink, this might be one of the steps, but I would not use it to routinely clean or spot treat a stone sink. **Q: What's the difference between the three types?** A: If you click on each different type you'll see a picture. The difference is the shape as the last two are rounded because toilets and bathtubs have curves. I can vouch for the oven one as I have a pizza steel and, of course, sometimes cheese spills over on it and burns to a crisp. Going over it just a few times with the stone, and then wiping it up with a very lightly-oiled rag, keeps my steel very clean and the pizza is just come right off. And I don't get the burning smell from leftover cheese. The stone lasts forever. When you use it you'll notice some grit on the steal, but as I said, I just wipe it up with a rag and a little oil to get it all off. That way I don't have to wash the steel and worry about rusting.
