The sound of the water bubbling while the cool mist comes out is very soothing. The LED lighting is also a plus. It completes my whole zen feel! The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because its a bit uncomfortable having a grip to open the lid. You just have to pull up and twist a little but from it's shape makes it a little difficult to get a good grip.
