Review: Absolutely perfect as Acoustic Absorption for My Neumann Near-Field Monitors - I needed to raise up my Neumann KH80's and also reduce bass rumble on my desk where I compose orchestral music, and these blocks are PERFECT. My speakers are 6" wide by 8" long, and these blocks are 6x9! They raise the speakers up 4" off my desk. Honestly, it was like they were made for the speakers custom, lol. The foam is dense, the weight of the speaker doesn't even give in, yet the bass frequencies are absorbed perfectly. Monitor stands to do that same thing are over 200 bucks, this is such a great solution. As far as yoga, I have no idea what happens in yoga nor what you are even supposed to do with these blocks in that way, but for audio room treatment, they are stellar. In fact, you could place 4 of these together on the floor and create a perfect elevated detached subwoofer stand! At this price, wow, what a blessing. Thanks yoga world!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does anyone know the level of the cushion? I've run across two types of blocks, one that is very firm and doesn't give and others that have some give**
A: These blocks weigh 6 oz each and I would say they have moderate cushion. They are not as firm or heavy as a cork block. I weigh 190 lbs and when I do a dondasana (plank) position the heals of my hands probably compress the block 1/8” if I am on fingertips I probably compress from 1/8” to 1/4” depending on the finger. That said for flat hand poses I think they are fine but on fingertips I don’t think the stability is good enough. 

I think they are a great value and you will likely have to 2-3 times as much for a more stable block. Since I will not be using with fingertips they are fine.

**Q: Dimensions are listed as 4x9x6 in product description but 4x9x12 in product details.  Which is correct?**
A: 4x9x6

**Q: How long is th strap? And why does the manufacturer not state length of strap?**
A: These are blocks there isn’t a strap

**Q: is there any color tranfer to clothes or surfaces when using these?**

I don't use these for yoga per se. Instead, I use them for some back exercises I do to help with a herniated disk. The blocks are fairly solid with just a very small amount of give. It's comfortable enough for me to use it to prop my head up as I lie on the floor on my back. I also use it to elevate my legs. The purple color is sold at a considerable discount which was half the price of the black set when I purchased it. I liked them so much that I got a second set.
