I just want to make round eggs and pancakes without a hotspot in the middle from using my NuWave hotplate. I should have gone with the 8" coil, but now Im stuck with the 6". I never use my parent stove burners anymore because the hotplate is so much safer and you can take pans off and it shuts off until you put it back on.But this isn't about the hotplate, it's about the pan. It claims nonstick, and it is to some sort. Eggs don't stick to it, but hamburger excess juice will and will cake up if you don't scrape or take care of it between patties. Mildy annoying, but now I cook my burger patties in a different pan. So for eggs and pancakes, it's really good. It doesn't come with a lid, so you'll have to buy one... Which they don't make a lot of them for this size. Handle doesn't get hot. The cleanup is easy like nonstick is. Rounded so it's easy to get a spatula under to flip things.
