We started noticing some latency and drop connection issues across multiple devices and after some light reading and review of our model signal levels I decided to buy a signal attenuator pad. After trying the 6db connector my result seemed mixed but better so I decided to go with the 3db and this seems to be the perfect target. Modem now shows very minimal entries related to latency or connection and overall connection is super stable. For reference, i believe that spectrum already have one on the cable entering the house but I'm nor sure what's the DB rating on it. Although this thing may not work for anyone you should give it a try if you have issues. Review: Perfect for Getting VHF Sub-Channels Lost from Over-Powered Signal - Amazing. I got the Winegard amplified flat antenna, which brought in the missing channels I was needing... mostly. But for WSMV-TV (a VHF channel), I was only getting the main 4-1 (oddly showing as 4-10). The internet told me that this was likely because of OVER-powering from the amplifier. This 3db attenuation did the trick, bringing in the rest of the 4s while not losing any other channels. While it decreases the Rx power by nearly what is advertised, it increases the Tx power by the same amount. I am giving it 5 stars because it works as advertised for the rated power reduction.
